Function:
Under the direction of the Software Integration Manager; works to build, maintain and enhance SQL databases and software applications providing a technological edge to our internal and external customers.
Accountabilities:
- Manages multiple concurrent tasks and provide support to existing web infrastructure
- Works independently to complete tasks in a timely manner, and adheres to project deadlines
- Designs, maintains and enhances MS-SQL databases and Windows .NET based solutions as assigned to meet business needs according to existing Software Development Lifecycle
- Documents changes to existing programs or newly developed programs
- Becomes well acquainted with all aspects of the Bank’s technological infrastructure; servers, data communication links, networks and software
- Assists in streamlining current processes through the use of automation
- Maintains a level of expertise with the Bank’s RDBMS and Software Development Tools
- Assists in evaluating and implementing outside software packages
- Supports data security administration to ensure optimum security of data systems at all times
- Performs additional duties as requested, including after hours coverage
- Interacts harmoniously and effectively with others; focusing upon the attainment of bank goals and objectives through a commitment to teamwork
- Conforms to acceptable punctuality/attendance standards as expressed in the Employee Handbook
Business Partner Relations:
- Services referrals from internal business partners and vendors to maximize the customer experience
- Coordinates tasks/activities with business partners as appropriate
Compliance and Control:
- Assists in ensuring that the Bank complies with local, state and federal regulations
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; four-year college degree or equivalent work experience; business or military experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills
- Highly skilled with Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies, to include Business Intelligence Designer Studio (BIDS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Ability applying and/or knowledge of the following Web development and programming skills: ASP, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, VBNET, XML, XSLT and Web/Windows Services
- Visual Studio and Visual SourceSafe experience
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation server a plus.
- Requires thorough security knowledge and understanding of information technology hardware, software, network equipment
- Experience with Ektron Content Management System and Microsoft Sharepoint a plus
- IBM Cognos experience a plus
- Data Warehouse knowledge or experience a plus
- Exposure to a broad range of current Microsoft technologies, and able to contribute meaningfully to technology and product decisions
- Ability to conduct methodical and systematic testing of new products.
- Solid understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
